Vaseline Perfect 10 Whitening and Anti-Aging Lotion offers skin benefits that address the main concerns of aging skin.

 

Last month, I had the huge honour of being launched as Vaseline Perfect 10’s Brand Ambassador. The Vaseline team set up a beautiful tea party at the Rockwell Club. It was attended by media and a few close friends and more importantly, my parents. It’s a huge honour for me to be endorsing Vaseline – a well-known and trusted brand worldwide.

Vaseline Perfect 10 is Vaseline’s first and only product that delivers the two-fold advantage of whitening and anti-aging in one. It reduces fine lines, lightens and nourishes skin, boosts radiance, reduces dark spots and gives UVA/UVB protection through a combination of ingredients known and tested to deliver tangible results. I have been guilty of focusing too much on the skin on my face – anti aging, derma visits etc. – neglecting the skin on my body. So when I tried Vaseline Perfect 10, it was the perfect formulation for me because not only does it keep my skin moisturized, it also addresses some skin aging concerns like fine lines and age spots.

It has Vitamin B3 that whitens and evens out skin tone and CLA that targets age spots and hyper-pigmentation. Together, these two ingredients make for fairer, even-toned skin. Fine lines and wrinkles, on the other hand, are corrected through the triple-action of Retinol, Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA), and antioxidants. Retinol helps stimulate collagen production, allowing the skin to retain its elasticity. AHA  exfoliates dead skin cells, to diminish the appearance of wrinkles and smoothen skin texture. Antioxidants strengthen the skin by protecting it against free radical damage, thus arresting the formation of fine lines and sagging skin.

They (Unilever and my husband) surprised me with a video message from Patrick. He’s never agreed to do anything like that before. So naturally, I was quite emotional. It’s my first ever public cry. I didn’t even cry at our wedding. The message was really special. Nerisa Almo of Pep.ph picked up the story. Here it is.

Daphne Home Scents for Bench

 

 

Pinch me. Is this really happening?

Yesterday, Bench launched their first home scent – and they chose to work with me. I still can’t believe this all happened. We know that Bench has pioneered and captured the celebrity fragrance market. It is a natural progression that they’d move into the home sector – being that they are the country’s top fashion lifestyle brand. And when they approached me and wanted to develop the home scent with me, I was internally doing somersaults. This is the BIG thing I’d been keeping secret all these months.
Lots of stories to tell about the launch and the scents. I’m waiting for the official photos and videos so I can share them with you. For now, Instagram (@DaphneOP) is it. Hope you don’t mind.

The Daphne Home Scents for Bench come in three variants – Acres of Lavender, Homemade Lemon Tart and Mint Jasmine Infusion. I love all three. I hope you get to try them. Very, very affordable. They’re sold at P348 per bottle (introductory price!).

The Daphne Furniture also has a new home now. I’ve moved the Daphne chairs to Dimensione High Street, Eastwood, Rockwell and Greenbelt 5. Lots of yummy colours now. And yes, the Home Scents are developed with French perfume experts.

The whole Bench family came to the launch. They planned and styled the event in the loveliest way. All our guests were in awe, as much as I was. It was hosted by Raymond Gutierrez! I was star struck! Hearing him introduce me in such a nice way was just out of this world extraordinary! This mother and daughter team is Kai Lim’s, wife of Bench VP for Business Development Bryan Lim.

Can I say that my heart skips a beat everytime I see the BENCH logo and DAPHNE logo side by side? How this happened, I don’t really know. I was honestly just wishing and willing it in my mind. And one day, I heard from Mr. Ben Chan’s people. Thank you, universe. Thank you, God!

 

You know it's not a regular day when you wake up to a tweet from @BCBench @benchtm. Still in awe.
This morning, a barrage of tweets from guests who have set up the Daphne Home Scents for Bench. And this most unforgettable tweet from Mr. Ben Chan. (He’s out of the country on an important trip and said that he brought some bottles of the home scent as gifts for his friends. He was very hands on with every single detail of the launch. Thank you, Mr. Chan.)
