Last week I hosted the launch of the Cappellini showroom at One Parkade in Bonifacio High Street. This is Cappellini’s first showroom in Asia – in partnership with Suyen Corporation.
Every Cappellini showroom has a specific colour that connects it to the city in which it is located. In Milan, it’s yellow. Paris is purple. New York is red. Brussels is blue. Manila is turquoise because of the water around the beaches in the Philippines.
Giulio Cappellini is an architect, art director and widely recognized taste-maker in the international design field. He’s been appointed as one of the top 10 trend-setters of our time and as one of the most charismatic leaders in design by TIME magazine. He has helped launch the world’s greatest and award-wining designers such as Jasper Morrison, the Bouroullec brothers, Marcel Wanders and Tom Dixon.

Giulio gave a talk about the journey of Cappellini and the stories behind the designers and their work.
Tessa and me. By the way, my dress is by K&Company’s current collection. There is a black version of this one as well.
