How is everyone’s Easter break coming along? Mine is just perfect with my family in Canada. I always look forward to the cold so I can wear my layers and jackets. But this Canada cold is beyond “porma” (as Liza Ilarde asked me). I’m just in my padded jacket everyday. I wish I had a parka. It’s that cold.

The spring styles are now in stores. Very exciting. But I’m holding out with my shopping. Because it’s still so cold. We’ll be in minus 2 degree weather this weekend.

I went on a journey last week. Some of you know about it through my instagram. I will tell the story in the coming days.

This is totally off topic. I was filling out a form for a tourist visa online. It was one of those really meticulous online forms that need to be validated. It took me all day to gather all the documents. When I finally finished everything accurately, I pressed the print button and everything just disappeared. So now I have to start all over again. Don’t you just get so annoyed when these things happen? Argh.

So I took a break. Cleaned up my inbox and found an email from Hermes Manila. They sent me links to these really cute short videos for the Spring Summer 2013 accessories and home collections. They are so adorable.

Valentines Day came and went. Sorry for the lack of posts. I was very busy the day before Valentines Day. I had events for Samsung and Procter & Gamble Beauty. At both parties I wore my recent HK loot from Cos. I’m really loving the stark silhouettes of the dresses. I kept my jewellery minimal. Just Jewelmer south sea pearl earrings.

And because its the love month and love week, let me start each caption with “I’m loving…”

 

 

I’m loving Samsung digital inverter refrigerators. You all know I’ve been endorsing Samsung Digital Home Appliances (See ad on the right). You’ll be seeing more of me and Tessa Prieto Valdes this year as we introduce more exciting digital appliances for the home. Just before Valentines Day we launched a line of Samsung digital inverter refrigerators in sizes smaller than mine and in a price range that’s so affordable.

 

I love Boy Abunda. And I mean that. Everything he does is so large yet he remains so humble and approachable. I don’t have a professional relationship with him but he responds to all my questions and concerns like its the most important issue of the day. Such a kind soul. This was at the Olay event where I attended as P&G Beauty Ambasador and Boy presented his new webisodes for Olay. Keep track of this channel for the February 17 release of the interviews of Mons Romulo and Denise Laurel about surviving major changes in their lives.

 

I’m loving my new minaudière from Ann Ong. This Binanig clutch won Katha Award in Manila FAME Fall 2012. She’s still setting up her website. In the meantime you can find her work at House of Laurel and at Rockwell’s Archaeology.

 

I’m loving Bea Alonzo. I think she’s a great actress. And she’s so beautiful. I love her even more because the first thing she said when she met me was “I’m a huge fan.” OMG. She said she would stay up and watch Urban Zone regularly. Denise Laurel said the same thing. And I’m loving her hair. It’s all in my Instagram.
