Celebrity Style Awards

Back in 2010 I received word that I was nominated for Most Stylish Female Host by the Celebrity Style Awards of Star Studio magazine. I was so sure I wouldn’t win that I didn’t mention nor blog about it. In fact I didn’t even go to the actual awards night because I knew I didn’t stand a chance against Lucy Torres-Gomez, Ruffa Gutierrez, Teresa Herrera and Angel Aquino. Well, I ended up winning tied with Angel.

The real award...
They sent the award to my home. Pretty cool!

This year, Star Studio magazine is doing it again for the second time.

A couple of weekends ago, while inactively watching ASAP I chanced upon my photo flashing on screen. I was in doubt. But I knew it was me because of the dress. Turns out I’m nominated again. Wow. This time I know I really don’t stand a chance. Voting was done via social media and text. The other nominees are some of the biggest stars in the country.

Star Studio tweeted this photo from their instagram. That was taken at the Camay event early this year. I’m wearing a K & Company lace dress, an old denim bag a gift by my friend Katherine, and earrings I bought from Kristine Dee. I remember that day. I did my own makeup. I was running late because I had to finish dinner and homework with the kids.

Style Awards Nominee
What an honour to be nominated alongside the country’s top female tv hosts – Toni Gonzaga, KC Concepcion, Anne Curtis and Bianca Gonzales.

I’m posting all these now that all the voting is done. So I’m not soliciting votes… Seriously. There is no chance. Being nominated is good enough. Thank you Star Studio.
